march, on the weekends

lately, i have designated saturdays and two nights a week as dissertation time.  6 long days a week is tiring. funny, though, this week was so productive, both at work and on my dissertation and it felt great!

last weekend, amy, todd, declan, and nolan came to the garden state to visit us.  we had a lovely time, catching up and eating.

This weekend, after working all day on Saturday, I had a huge list to get through for Sunday.  It didn't all happen, but I:
- enjoyed the morning light in my kitchen while I made a Dutch Baby;

- took out the ice cream maker (chocolate mint ice cream for dinner down the street at my auntie's;

- and almost finished a crazy, intriguing article in the New Yorker on a guy who left the Church of Scientology (wild stuff!)
